Is it better to restore the cabinet to original factory looks or change it and give it a more unique look? The only reason I ask is because the side art for this game is horrible looking. The whole cabinet as a whole is pretty ugly except for the marquee. It's just a flat black cabinet, oval shaped side art, and multi-colored buttons.

I was thinking of changing the button colors (green & black, or blue & black), different side art, and matching CP wrap.

I'm just concerned that if I decide to get rid of this cab that the resale value would be crap because it's not original. I'll probably end up just making it look original but, I have some really good ideas on making this cab look a hell of a lot better. What do you think?

Altered Beast was mainly a SEGA 16 kit game that was thrown into any cab that an op had on hand that wasn't pulling in money anymore by 1988. You can do whatever you want to customize it and it will only increase the value IMHO, depending on the quality and aesthetics of said customization. It will also matter what cab it currently resides in. If it's in a dynamo or other generic cab, customize it. If it's a highly recognized cab like Tempest, Burgertime or Asteroids Deluxe, I'd find a generic cab, customize it, then throw the kit into that cab.

Your name is Bonecollektor? How dare you steal Frizz's mouths nickname?

not sure of color on the sides of the cab but I always thought something wild as heck.. silver with blue t-molding and that side art would look nice. not many silver cabs out there either. well either silver or a bitchin shade of grey
