I can across the newish monitor the other day. It was a perfect looking tube on it, and would like to use it for one of my games. My question is....Can I convert the chassis to accept the standard arcade video connections? I believe the video input is RGB S if i'm not mistaken? I'm sure since its a new chassis like the Wei Yas that has to be "Americanized" for classic games..Is that the case for this one in particular? Does some sort of converter exist? I'd like to see if it works.

Thanks in advance,

Jason

There is no need to convert it. It has a plug opposite corner of the flyback.

Pinout is R,G,B,Gng,Key,CompSync

Good luck on getting the Horizontal width correct. It may work on some games. But I know for a fact it will not work out of the box on Pacman, Ms Pac Man, and Missile command. You will need to change mylar caps in the Horizontal Section.

Also the ALS 1019K, is almost identical to a Makvison 1415 CH203 Generic chassis I assume.

I haven't been able to find Schematics even contacting the mfg they state send it to Happ for repair.

I just put them on the back burner for now.

Also Just an FYI the small neck tube is the same as the small neck tube on some K4600or K7000 I don't recall off hand.

Another thing to note, is that the ALS monitor uses a very crappy tube. The Shadow Mask is easily damaged with even the slightest jarring of the tube. Most of the ones I've seen are bad out of the box.
