Hey guys. I've been giving away free parts here almost on a weekly basis for awhile now. While I'm still giving away parts, this weekend is different. I actually need help with something which I am dreading to do myself. I figure maybe I can convince you guys to help me out in exchange for parts. :) It's worth a shot.

So, here's the deal. I need the flyer text for every Atari game title typed in - that is, the main description text about the game and the technical specs. Each person who types in text for FIVE of these flyers gets to choose an item from the list below. Now, there's no limit per person. If the same person chooses to type in text for 15 games, he (or she) can choose three items below. 20 games = 4 items, 50 games = 10 items... etc. I don't care as long as that text gets typed in!!

Please note that I will not accept text for the same flyer multiple times, so if you plan to type in the text for specific flyers, please state your intentions in this thread so others are aware of it.

Flyers can be found here:

Atari, Inc.:
http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=a...ar=&manu=11&source=&submit=Search+the+Archive

Atari Games Corp:
http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=a...r=&manu=378&source=&submit=Search+the+Archive

The only limitation here is the number of flyers available. Atari did make a finite number of games, so you better hurry.

If you see multiple flyers for the same game, choose ONE that looks the best (ie: has the most information).

When you're done, please send me the text via email to: [email protected]

It's Sunday Dave, there's a double-header on for NFL too! OBTW, Did you get my "Stuff " sent? I need to keep an eye open for a box! :)

Wait a minute. People here on KLOV watch football? LOL....and they have lives outside of this forum? I don't know, man. That's really hard for me to believe. hahaha Just KIDDING everyone. I Tivo anything I might be interested in watching....so I can do it on my terms. (you know, late at night when everyone else is asleep and it's QUIET).

Anyhow, watch for your friendly neighborhood UPS man, parts are definitely on the way!!

Dave

Gotcha on that Dave-- having TiVo on your terms is best too. I can't justify spending all day in front of the tube when there are about 150 bags of leaves to rake up this afternoon. I put a good dent in them for a few hours this today, more on that when I get the chance. They're all wet here since we had a dumping of snow on Friday 2-3" of the stuff!
Good luck on getting people to enlist and thanks for all the production parts you're doing to the collector community. I know that people would snatch up some repo Bezerk bat handles as soon as you get the time!

The Thrill of Victory.
Atari football is the new generation in video sports simulation.
For the first time players can be experience the challenge and the excitement of playing football so realistically that its like being there.

Strategy and ball control... the name of the game.
The video presentation is a chalk-talk that moves! The game sets up with a 7-man offense, and a 7-man defense.

Pro football type play offers players unlimited opportunity for planning strategy and making big plays. Unique panel design keeps each players "game plan" a secret from the other.

Each player selects a preprogrammed play. The offense selects one of four run or pass plays., the defense chooses one of four defensive plays.
The object is to anticipate what the opponents play selection will be, then out-maneuver him for either effective defense or yardage offense.

Rugged Trak Ball controls allow smooth, instant player movement in any direction for super-responsive play action.

New Trak Ball control.
The players huddle, line up, the ball is snapped and the play is on! Each player controls one man on his team... left and right, slant patterns, forward, back -- anywhere there is a hole in the defense or running room to tackle a ball-carrier. The rest of the team moves according to the play selected. A tackle is made when the ball-carrier is touched by a defensive man.
Realistic football rules apply except there are no kicking plays. Scoring is 7 points for a touchdown run, 6 points for a touchdown pass, and 2 points for a safety.

Player Options.
Play Selection. Play selection is a continuously exercised option... a game-play challenge feature that makes each game a new game. And demands repeat play.
Add-a-coin. Each additional coin adds time-play to the basic game time. Players can buy extra time for longer uninterrupted play.

Exclusive Operator Options.
Game Time. Game time is operator-adjustable to 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, or 3 minutes per coin.
Height-adjustable Cabinet.
Atari Football is height adjustable to fit any location requirement. The standard height is 40" for comfortable play. It can also be installed as a cocktail table type game by the removal of a spacing module at the bottom of the cabinet that reduces the height to 31"

All-Pro durability.
Atari Football is built for rugged action. durable, tested-tough Trak Ball control and cabinet construction, Durastress™ tested all solid state circuitry, and Instapart™ parts turnaround add up to less time outs.

Built-in Self-Test System.
Added to the thorough distributor, factory warranty, and service backup, Atari Football has Atari's unique built-in self-dionostic program forr easy trouble-shooting -- whereever the gridiron.

Bust out of the ordinary.
High profit potential is built in. Players can compete for points against a opponent or against them-selves. High skill factor makes Breakout tough to master, invites replay for higher scores.

The Jailbreak caper.
Breakout sets up with 8 rows of bricks, each two rows are a different color. Players get 3 balls to try to knock down as many bricks as possible by ricocheting the ball against the wall off of a video sledge hammer.
1 point is scored for each brick knocked out in the yellow row, 3 for each in the green, 5 for each orange, 7 for each red.
To add to the challenge, the hammer decreases to 1/2 size after the red row is broken through. Ball speed increases after 4 hits, increases again after 12, to the highest speed in the orange and red rows.

More options.
Breakout can be adjusted from 3 to 5 balls per game. If player knocks down all bricks, wall re-apperars for more chances to score.
Extended play can be awarded after operator adjustable number of points total is achieved. Operator can adjust to any total in increments of 100.

Special Features.
Color overlays over the playfield, sound effects speakers located high in the cabinet and florescent graphic panels attract players anywhere. A protective hood and a 15º playfield screen tilt angle cuts down on distracting reflections and glare.
Atari standard features
include locking cashbox, hinged cash door and reliable Durastress-tested solid state electronics.

InstaPart™ Service.
24-hour parts turn-around is available to keep profits coming non-stop.

Dimensions.
Width: 25 1/4''; 64.1 cm. Height: 65 1/2''; 166.4 cm. Depth: 27 3/4''; 70.5 cm.

Another Video action favorite! QUADRAPONG is the latest addition to Atari's unique line of video skill games. It's a sensational 4-player game with a video ball bouncing from side-to-side off four walls of the screen trying to penetrate each player's goal. A beeping sound simulates its rebounds and adds to the over all excitement. each player tries to keep the ball out of his goal with a moving "paddle." If the ball penetrates hid goal, he loses one of four points with which he begins the game. When all are gone, his goal closes. Players are eliminated until only the victor is left. Both sound and frenetic action challenge players to do it again . . . it's a truly irresistible game!
QUADRAPONG's exciting new table top design takes up less space . . . its low profile allows room for 4 players and a congenial group of spectators. QUADRAPONG can be placed anywhere because of its clean, contemporary look, from fine shops to restaurants, waiting rooms, reception areas and offices.
Always reliable games. QUADRAPONG, like its forerunners PONG and GOTCHA, features all solid state computer tested with Atari's unique Durastress™ process. All Atari Computers carry a one year warranty. Repairs after the initial warranty period are made by expert technicians at nominal cost. Major Components are tested to Mil Spec 883.

Easy to operate and service.
QUADRAPONG has a rugged console with precision engineering. This means less downtime and less trouble for you. The top is hinged and lifts up for quick, easy access to all major components. There's a separately locked cash box for convenience and safety.

Fast profit-maker. Game time ownership can adjust from a) 4 players for 25¢ all the time; or b) 2 players for for 25¢, 4 for 50¢.

Dimensions. Height: 32 1/4 inches; width: 35 inches; depth: 25 1/4 inches; weight: 110 lbs.

Eight International Speedways. The multiple course layout features the sights and sounds of racing in many different parts of the world. The player selects a course by deciding to go right or left at checkpoints or forks in the road as he progresses through the five stages.

He races against the clock to complete each stage within its preset time limit and continue immediately into the next. Bonus points are awarded for every car passed and for the completion of each stage. a special bonus is accrued for each time unit remaining after crossing the finish line.

Graphic Realism. The realism of the racing environment is intensified by the wrap-around action taking place on all three screens. The graphics are so crisp, so dynamic, the player lives the dangers and thrills with every mile.
At intervals, the scene changes, from day to night. Depending upon the course selected, the play speeds through city, desert, mountains, and snow country. He races uphill, downhill, through tricky hairpin curves, even through a tunnel prior to reaching each checkpoint.

Audio enhancement. TX-1 offers four channel sound to accentuate the realism. The player can audibly distinguish between cars whizzing by on his right and those passing on his left. The roar of the speedway is even muted as he enters a tunnel.

Responsive Performance. The player experiences the feel of the road as never before with a steering wheel that delivers incredible feedback. when going into a skid, the loss of steering is so realistic that it forces him to take his foot off the accelerator until he can regain his alignment on the track. Around corners he must brake or downshift from high to low to avoid the risk of losing control again.

Controls. The sit-down cabinet comes complete with two-position gear shift, steering wheel, foot brake and accelerator pedal.

High Scores. A listing of course records holds the top score and player initials for each of the 8 tracks. A second high score list ranks toe top 100 drivers overall.

Dimensions: Height: 71.4in., 181.4cm.; Width: 56in., 139.7cm,; Depth: 72.8in., 184.9cm.; Weight 650lbs., 294.8kg

Dibs on Marble Madness, Road Blasters, Escape From the Planet of the Robot Monsters, STUN Runner, and Vindicators. (Just to prevent duplication of labor).

Update, done with these five and sent in.
