It's about 90% complete now. Basically it's an Atari power brick, spot for a AR-I or AR-II 'under test', and a load box. The box lets you select among all the different output voltages, and a point in a string of power resistors that essentially increases the amount of load on the selected voltage. It will also have a method to test the audio output circuits, and some hooks to perform various experiments I've been meaning to try. Sorry no pics yet, but look for them later this week! :D

I have about 10 untested AR boards. I might bring them by when I go visit my bro in Melbourne. Aren't you on the Space Coast some where?

I'm in the Melbourne, Viera area. Bring them by and we'll test 'em!!! :)

Day-um, that's the same neighborhood where my bro lives... I thought I remembered that you were real close to there. We are planning a trip down there next year, my wife's cousin is getting married in West Palm, so we will be road trippin' all over FL to see our peeps.

Well stop on by when you're down next! You can also check out my small not-as-dead-as-the-others row. :p I just picked up a Time Pilot that's fully working, although it's in desperate need of some artwork. Also got a Multipede and a WoW. Hopefully a couple others by the time you get here. :D

I'd be very interested in details of your setup and perhaps a photo or 2. Sure would make it easier to test the boards out of a game and get a good stack set aside for later use.

Photos and schematics forthcoming soon!

Maybe I should of sent my MC AR-II as well :p

Yeah I should've thought about that too. Tell ya what I can do - I have a spare rev-03 board on the shelf. I'll test it out and send it back with your MC board. Then, if/when you send me your dead MP you can send your old rev-03 with it.
