I picked this up in a trade from another KLOV'er. While it works it does have a few issues still to be worked out. This may be the first motion simulator type game ever made. It has a motor attached to a worm drive under the seat which moves the chair right to left by the joystick controls. The joystick also controls the on screen site up/down/left/right motion. The game is electromechanical and uses an automotive 8track tape player for sounds.

As you can see in the video the chair motion is not working right yet. It has a worn out slip-clutch type mechanism that I am in the process of rebuilding. We sorted out coin up issues and fixed a scoring problem. The projection of the planes was constant but I have got it to become somewhat random although I do not think it is 100% correct yet. It has some bad relays that I have to order and is missing game sounds that do not come off the 8track. I had no documentation on this game and was going on 30yo memories of playing it as a kid. I have since found a 3ppg manual and schematic online. If you have the original documentation for it and would like to sell it please contact me.

I was very surprised Jeff gave this up considering all the crap he had go thru to get it in the first place (plus all the crap he got from his wife when he did), but I know his priorities have changed in the meantime. I'm sure he'll enjoy that pinball more.

I tried to contact that guy in that thread when Jeff still had it to get that paperwork, and never heard back....

Thanks Guys.

Just ordered 46$ in replacement relays. :(
I was doing some swapping around of relays and have some bad ones for sure. I have also been working on getting the other sounds working. I think this one will be 100% soon. Do any other KLOV'er own one of these? I would like to hear about it.

There is a local warehouse here that had a complete one at one time. there are parts for it all over the place. i can remember seeing the CP, marquee, cab in pieces, if your looking for anything pm me and next time im there i can take a look

Played the machine many times and is great fun. It was on the floor at the Half Moon Arcade in Laconia, NH until a couple years ago. Looks to be in pretty nice shape!!! Usually the seat is beat and torn. How does your seat look, need work?

Just one torn part near a seam. It is better than any of the other ones I have seen. Shoot it is in better condition than the seat on the one I would play at the Gold mine Arcade in about 1980 here in Austin even. :)
I was really suprised at the condition.

Wow! That is really cool. Don't recall ever seeing one before. Let us know how the restore goes. It would be nice to check that out when working. :)

I've got one of these I picked up from an old amusement park about 15 years ago. I've never even hooked it up or plugged it in. But everything else I got from there was in very nice condition inside and out.

I'm looking forward to getting it running some day and even putting it in my arcade museum (possibly...it's awfully large).

I appreciated seeing your utube of it. I never had seen one before and had no idea what it played like.

15 years ago, man you should drop that off at my place so it can get some love!!!, It would look good next to the G-Loc :D:D:D

Getting closer...

Got a little closer to getting this machine 100%. It is all working correctly now except for the chair motion linkage. I have had to replace 6 relays so far and also had to do some repairs in the amp/soundboard unit. This game uses the 8-track tape for ambient cockpit sounds and the sound board for the fire/shot sound and hit/boom sound. Here is a new video of the game with the gameplay sounds active. It is off on the hit/miss collision sometimes because of the chair not being 100% alligned yet. I have to mfg some parts on my metal lathe to finish this off but should have it done by next week.
