i have a line on an allied crack shot shooting game. complete, good
glass, turns on, projectors work, has sound. both gun stylus arms are
messed up, it just needs a lot of work. too big for the house, will
have to reside in the garage. the guy wants 300 bucks. should i go for
it ?

thanks

i passed on it, the guy thinks is worth more than it is.

im sure he does... theres alot of peeople that thing they have treasure just because its old. YOU were his chance to get rid of the thing, now its gonna sit for a LONG time!!

It's hard to muck up a stylus in most games - they are on a fixed arm.

If the stylus is messed up, well, I can only imagine what else got messed up by the same person trying to get the game to work in what can only be described as a painfully uninformed manner.

It's too bad games can't give electrical shocks to protect themselves from idiots.

allied leisure crack shot- i bought it

i picked up the crack shot. if anyone has paperwork for it, please let me know. i need a projector bulb too

thanks

Nice pickup Mike. What do you need to do to the game. Are the stylus there but just out of alignment? Would like to see some pictures of the inside of the game when you get a chance.

regards Derek

there is a stylus on the right gun, none on the left. i found both stylus' and the busted up bakelite holder in the bottom of the cabinet. from there i can make a new one. here is the crazy part, and ive done it before. this thing is huge, too big to get in the house. i'm going to split the cabinet by sawing it in half, and glue it back together in my basement. ive done it with another gun game. i'll use hide glue, which can be undone with heat/steam. hopefully, i'll like the game so much it will never leave. it will actually be pretty easy with this one, most of the front is covered by the removable gun mount and coin door/coinbox. the seams will only be on the bottom and the top, where you wont see them. here are some pics of the mechanisms .
