I think everyone who were at the show Friday and Saturday will all agree the show was a huge hit. First, we have the most incredible weather you could hope for on both days. Second, the air conditioning was working great in the hall. Third, there was a REALLY great selection of games to be played. And fourth, there was a marvelous Flea Market Area with ME featured front and center with my $5 pinball glass, $4 pinball legs, and 25 cent flipper rubbers!! Just kidding guys...there was LOTS of other great deals out there too!!
Thanks again to the Heins for putting on a flawless show this year!!!! And of course, the marvelous Farmer's Market next door was a huge hit with everyone who was even the least bit hungry!!! Todd Tuckey from TNT Amusements

Anyone know how much the Joust and Defender vids sold for ?
(..they were right at the entrance of the flea market )

The guy was looking for $200 each. (non-working).
The cabs were water damaged, but the Defender boards were spotless !

Just curious to know what they sold for...

Thanks,
Steoh

I knew it was a good thing I left the truck home and took the wifey's Santa Fe. :) I'm curious what these went for too... the Defender really didn't look too bad and being plywood it would be a relatively easy fix.

They sold to someone driving a large yellow box truck today. I saw them in the truck while I was loading up my game this afternoon.

The seller was still trying to get $200 each for them early this morning. They both had a good amount of mold in them and didn't work. I saw acid damage on the Joust board.

Eh...I got there I guess around 12:30 today, and I think there were literally 4 vendors left in the flea market area. I almost got back in the car and left, but decided to splurge and go look anyway. I would have been pissed had I not wanted to get my Dorney season pass as well.

Anyhow - I left with a couple $10 chassis and a few project boards, but that was about it. I also got some bulbs and a couple bits and pieces I needed inside, played a couple games and a couple pins. I got to play Omega Race which was interesting, and they actually had a video pinball there! (Working of course, just to piss me off).

Here are a few pictures my wife took. She took a bunch more, but most are close up artsy shots of old parts & playfields that have seen better days. Had a great time, although the flea market didn't have nearly as much video stuff as last year. Enjoy!

We were there Friday night and had a good time. No huge purchases but I managed to find a set of slingshot plastics I needed, some playfield glass, and I picked up some assorted parts inside. Todd had some good deals, I managed to pick up a Black Knight backglass from him. It was flaking, probably even more than the one I have on my machine, but it will serve as a good test bed for trying to touch it up. We have wanted to try our hand, but were worried about ruining ours so this is a good test piece.

Have to say If I had more room I would have bought a couple of project pins For the $100 price each. But I decided against it maybe next year I was mainly in the search for parts to complete my current projects which I found a few. Thank you Todd for that $5 glass now my amazing Spiderman has a playfield glass and my Omega Race CT has a top glass. other than the glass the only thing I picked up in the flea market was 4 System 80, 6 digit displays for $5 each I haven't tested them yet but they where unbroken I have high hopes LOL. Then a few odds and ends inside caster feet for games Novus 2 and 3 and some Novus polishing pads plus a new power cord for my Burgertime.

Yah, the water damage was pretty obvious.

The acid damage on the Joust "seemed" contained to the battery area only.
I did not see any signs of damage anywhere else.

The Defender boards looked pristine.

The seller said both games were home use only,
and sat in someone's basement for 25 yrs.

I find that a tad hard to believe given the screen burn
and CP usage, but inside was indeed pretty clean.

I'm curious as to who picked them up.

My wife noticed the same thing - last year I bought a cocktail Missile Command (now working well in my living room). We were looking at the pinbot inside ($800) and the one in the flea market ($600), but we were too slow deciding to go for it and were beaten to both of them.

I thought about the SI in the flea, but we didn't go for that either because my daughter is scared out of her mind by the backglass.

The seller who had the three games by the entrance told me he would never sell them below $200---(he was offered $50 to $150 each the day before...not by me.) I did not have any more room..so I couldn;t even consider them. He said if he didnt get $200 each for Defender and Joust and $400 for Asteroids, he would smash them apart and YouTube it, and sell the boardsets on EBay! But it looks like that did not happen after all.
The day before, a Klover bought a Sega Blasto, a decent looking non working Cabal, and a non working Video Pinball--all three for $100!!
There were very few video games there...I bought a decent Defender for $350. Todd

I wonder if the non-working pinball was the one working when I went there. Its killing me that I can't friggin fix this board :-(
