A few months back a friend (MrSell) offered up a free Space Duel cab, so I ran out and grabbed it from him. It had no boards, monitor, bezel, and back door.

Then another friend (MikeSandwick) offered up a boardset at a price I couldn't refuse. Can't talk about it, because it is classified.

I put out a WTB for the bezel and monitor cardboard shroud. GarageArcade came through for $35 shipped on both. Yes, the same guy that you all have been dogging on. (Frizz)

Now my friend (FreeBeer) needed some Williams games repaired, and offered up a beautiful 6100 that had just been repaired by our friend. (TitoJ)

Now if I can talk my friend (Timbre) into helping me make a back door, all she will need is a few minor parts like locks from our good friend Bob Roberts to be able to bring her into the house.

Awesome Dave. It's nice to see a working game where just a cab has been. Can't wait to play it.

Hey Todd, if you could bring a couple 1 1/8 locks I'd happily purchase them from you. - Barry

You have a control panel right? If not, I can bring one Saturday, I have an extra Space Duel cp in good shape.

The control panel is not mint, but it is in pretty damn good shape. All of the buttons and lighted buttons work flawlessly.

You have so many friends because you do so much for everyone and ask so little in return. Class act man, class act!

I just Love Video Games and Pins.

What is this repair party you speak of? Sounds cool.

First Repair Party of the year leading up to the NW Pinball and Game Room Show. Hosted at my house Saturday March 6th from 10 am until we get done. It is posted in the SMAC Group. Send me a pm if you don't have the info, and I will do a cut and paste for you.

Ahhh , you guys have all the fun up there in Washington !

Nice - that's the best way to get a game going; in the end you have a game that not only is fun and inexpensive to restore, but a great story behind how it came to live again.

(By the way, it's Space Duel)

Damn Straight! Actually it's been really cool having Dave host these repair parties. It's a great chance to BS, work on some stuff and learn a thing or 2. I try to go to as many as I can. Dave and his wife are gracious hosts..... - Barry
