All this can be yours for only $65,000...

16k tops. bulk price - 8 grand max, imho. The 65k is a pipe dream, even if the economy wasn't in the crapper, and games were getting top dollar.

agreed. assuming everything is working perfectly, $13k ? that's about $500 a game, and the most i'd go if i had a huge bank account and was about to jump into that.

what he should do is pull out all the decent pieces, like DOT, tempest, etc, sell those individually, and sell the rest as a lot.

yeah, i should've mentioned that was working in decent shape prices.

He has an interesting list of items for sell other than arcade games. Personally, I'm more interested in the F-86 Sabre engine.

At least he's not trying to sell a bunch of cheapo games that nobody really looks for like street fighter alfa 3 conversions and such.

Can't diss the man for so much joust love.

I never really understood all of the love that DOT gets, but then again, I NEVER actually saw one of those games in operation. Tron was such a success that I suppose most operators didn't want to risk it and spend even MORE money on yet another Tron machine. My guess is that it didn't earn as well as Tron, either.

I guess it is one of those "low volume" elusive titles with unique features, not unlike "Journey", which I used to have and wish that I had never sold.

I have been collecting games since 1989, and have had LOTS of machines. Over the years, I have only kept those which are in the nicest condition AND that I have a personal connection with. As I said before, I would like to THINK that my collection is valuable, but the current market would probably dictate that I would end up not getting NEAR what I believe the collection is worth...
