All I have is a tube and a yoke?

So, today I bought a Simpsons Machine, and the seller threw in 2 broken machines. One is another Simpsons, and the other is a vertical romstar machine. They have both been completely gutted.

Except for the monitors. All that's left on both is the tube and a neck. I can see the pins where the neckboard would go, and the spot for the guts of the monitor. Of course the little cap is gone that would sit on the tube (flyback? the thing you press a grounded screwdriver into to discharge it.)

I have never worked on monitors before, is it possible to get replacements for these. I was trying to find numbers or ID markings but its really difficult with practically everything stripped.

You need to find out what brand and model the monitor is/was then you should be able to find a chassis for it/them. There may be a way to find out the monitor info by checking to see what the OEM monitor for that cab was, that's assuming that it's the original monitor of coarse. There should be an ID tag or some kind of info on the frame. If not post a pic, someone will probably be able to help you ID it.

If you posted a pic I don't see it so here is my two cents:

Do you have the yoke? If the yoke(s) are present you can check them for resistance values. Once you have those values you can order replacement chassis from 8liners.com.

If there is no yoke present you can buy a complete set from anyone on these boards and rebuild the monitor.

If its a k7400 your in luck as I just aquired a nearly new k7400 chassis that is just rotting on my desk :). Id be willing to sell it to you for a great shipped price.
it has a new flyback and good caps.
works perfect.

Image 1 is likely a Wells-Gardner 25k7191. Yours still has the model number label. See the attached picture.

Image 2 is also a Wells-Gardner monitor, but the picture is too close to be of use.

Image 3 is definitely a Wells-Gardner 25k7191.

You were right, the two Simpsons are 25k7191.

The third romstar is a 25k7193.

Now, any idea where I can get chassis for these?

Chad at arcadecup may have some rebuilt chassis for sale.

You can find some of these on ebay, but condition is usually unknown by many sellers. Heck, sometimes the sellers don't even know the make and model of the chassis. So it's a crapshoot on ebay.
