All games working!

Don't jinx yourself!

:D

Great feeling isn't it?

For the first time in four months, everything is 100% functional. For a while, I had three machines down. I just thought I'd share.

Mine all work but there is usually at least one with some kind of minor problem. Nothing ever works 100%. If they did, I would think that something was wrong.

I have everything in the game room working and I am considering just getting rid of all the stored projects.

All of mine in the arcade were working until today I decided to pull a cabinet out the garage and make a bowling game with extra parts I had. It's working but have to figure out a monitor bezel and get glass cut this week.
The garage has 5 cabs all in pieces but I have plans for 4 of the 5!

This happened to me once, like 3 years ago.
It was a glorious feeling....

Right now, I've only got 4 down though... damn that's depressing.

Congrats on the temporary achievement!

I bet some of those coin chutes don't work too well.
There is no way you have everything perfect.
This condition does not exist in real coin-op. :)

It is day two and all of DeadCabinet arcade machines are still working for now. Stay tune on this thread for up dates..

I got visions of DeadCabinet sitting in a chair looking at the arcade machines grumbling to them. Don't you dare break on me. I got my eye on each and every one of you.

Laughs

Congrats.

No, I had a party and only one machine broke down. Or, so I thought. I fixed the broken machine and then decided to play another. I noticed that my "Torch" had a stuck coil that nobody told me about. I wonder how long it was like that?

That thing has always been breaking down, so I finally decided to go with the Pascal all-in-one board.

It's funny you should say this: A couple of hours after posting, my Ms. Pac decided to shut off on me while my dad was over to the house playing it. Of course, I had just moved everything back into position. I stood on a step ladder to check behind it, to see if there was a problem with the door being loose, which it was not. So, I had to move four cabinets again to see what was going on. Turns out, the entire interlock assembly was loose, and not making contact with the door. I was perturbed and took the lazy way out, popping the interlock out to service position, and swiveling the entire assembly back into the cabinet! :p I put the door back on, pushed everything back, and was golden in just a few minutes.

So as not to tempt fate further, I will refrain from daily updates. :)

I swear some machine will break down just to get a little more attention from the owner.

If you don't post or speak of it, How strange and odd an arcade machine will just happily keep running.

If you brag about the up time on a certain machine, Suddenly it will go down. at least that is my experience.

I have notice having a few spare working machine to replace a broken one does seem to keep the line running.
