I don't know how long it will last but all 118 games we have on the floor here at Game Galaxy in Nashville, TN are working. I give it about a week before something breaks, LOL

A WEEK? If you have many classics, then I give it two days, max. I've had REPAIRED vector monitors go out with less than 10 hours on them since they were fixed. Guess it goes with the territory...

I guess there is a difference between repairing and rebuilding. The difference is between hours and years.

Lee: We do have a lot of classics, but the ones that required the most repair were not vector. I've only run ONE vector game (Tempest) that is on location now at our other arcade with 70+ games, but this place, the games that are the most tempermental or always down were:

Defender
Spy Hunter
Nintendo Super System
Stargate Pinball

What did you say? I read "118 games, in an arcade..." and everything else was gibberish...

I forget what an arcade looks like...I thought they were like Bigfoot now.

No no no, there's been more reports of Bigfoot sightings in the last ten years vs arcade sightings :D

I am with you, when I saw all 118 games work, the rest went out the window, and all I could think of was how long it would take to get to Nashville and who is coming with.

But some pics would help.

Hmmm. What problems are your Spy Hunter giving you? Just curious.

I bet all 118 games are just going to all break down at the same time. :D

There's an older video on Scucci's You Tube channel of him filming around the arcade.

Spy Hunter at the old location had a lot of board problems, graphics cutting out, etc.

Spy Hunter at the NEW location (that I just found out yesterday we have to close after only three months because an LBE is moving into the mall and they had an issue with us having arcade machines even though the LBE is a redemption based facility) had a whole heap of crap wrong with it at one point.

Chassis problem. I received it from a gentleman on these very forums who I kid you not "duct taped" the chassis instead of finding screws to screw it in, and it was shipped to me like this. Needless to say I had to use a replacement chassis that worked, but the MCR went down and this is before I knew you had to have a beefier power supply to keep it running, so MCR and heavy duty PS and the thing is working thus far, but Spy Hunter at BOTH locations has given us problems.

Defender really is the bain of our existence, but Scucci has it running thus far for the past 2 weeks. I think it has earned a whopping $8 so far!
