Alien Arena (yes, that Alien Arena) 1 of 1, near Chicago
After a couple of house moves I'm finally going to stay put for a while, but there simply isn't as much room for "stuff" here, and I'm having to pare down the vast hoarding pile. One thing I've decided to finally let go is Alien Arena. This is the one and only complete cabinet I produced after writing the game, and it was run in the arcade I owned at the time (Professor Fether's, in Charlottesville, VA.)

You can probably find some of the story behind this game if you dig far enough back in the rgvac archives. It's also in MAME.
It's been in storage for a while. Foolishly I left the batteries on the CPU board before putting it away (I didn't know then it would be away for so long!) but all the got ruined was the battery holder. I've pulled it off the board, but I don't have any more spares to solder on, so I'll leave that for you. The game works fine without it, of course. There are a couple of parts (like the marquee) which are still in boxes in storage but which I hope to locate before sending this away, or will send along later. Included is a complete spare set of boards that were my development hardware, modified to take (and including) a board full of RAM to replace the ROM while I was writing the game. More pictures or details on request. I'm asking $2000.

I also have a very large hoard of boards for this era Williams hardware, and I'll be posting those for sale as I unbox it all and can describe them in more detail.
