ALCA PLANET; Vector chassis ID help please?..

I didnt expect so but from what I know of ALCA, they took games and actually worked to improve them before re-branding and releasing (check out the dual-layer board), so really wasn't sure if the pattern was in fact relevant, particularly to a possibly faulty game pcb..

As others have said, I haven't seen a pattern like that.

I looked at the neck in your pictures. If the tube is necked, it's subtle. Most of the time, it's pretty obvious given the angle of the back of the tube (which has to be 90 degrees from the face of the tube (where you see the neck connector / board askew significantly) or just glass on the chassis from the tube neck.

That doesn't mean it isn't. It just doesn't look like it to me.

I haven't got any additional photos yet but I have had the neck board off and visually inspected around the tube and found no signs of it being necked… I applied some gentle wiggle pressure by hand and it seems pretty firmly in place, no glass type 'creaking' or anything.. so maybe, just maybe, it's ok.. fingers crossed
