Back to the Arcade brings you a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a
custom NEON sign with the logo of the famous 80's arcade...Aladdin's Castle
This sign measures a whopping 14" high by 28" wide, made of hand blown
neon on a metal grid, and includes a 10,000v transformer all ready to hang on
the wall and plug in.

Shipping is included in the price to the continental United States (48 states).
It will be triple-boxed to protect the sign. Orders for this sign will be taken
until July 31st or until we hit the minimum number of orders (20). If we do
not reach the minimum number by July 31st, all money will be refunded to
those that paid.

I expect the signs to ship out in the early October timeframe. I will be able
to give a definitative date once the minimum order (20) is reached and I
place the order. The signs are being manufactured overseas through a large
reputable US distributor of Neon signs.

If at ANY time you have a concern over the status of the signs please contact
me using the phone number listed on my website. That is my personal cell.

The cost is $265 each (shipping included) and I need a minimum of 20 orders
to make this happen.

Please use my website to make the purchase (credit cards & paypal)
and post here when you are done so we can see the progress toward the 20 order goal.

I almost kind of like the underline. But I would like to see what the bottom portion of the letters would look like when you remove it.

I should have an updated image by mid next week. I just sent it off to their neon designers overseas.

I'm interested and vote to keep the underline as well. Hate to hijack, but do you have any status on the Burgertime art?

We can go with the underline if the majority feel thats the way to
go. I dont mind either way.

I'll assume underline unless a bunch of people speak up otherwise.

Burgertime CPO's are almost done. Screen printer is waiting on Glue to arrive
for the back. The Marquees and Bezels are up next. Given how long my printer
took on the CPOs. I cant give a timeframe on those yet.

I wish I had the cash for this it looks like it will be an awesome sign when finished. Are the Burgertime CPO's for sale on your web page or was that a preorder only? I must have missed it I have been wanting one for a year now with out any luck of finding one for a reasonable price.

They will be for sale soon.. You havent missed it:)

Well looks like this idea is dead. The Manufacturer just backed out for some
reason unbenost to me. Maybe to small of an order for them? no clue.

Oh well... unfortunately there doesnt appear to be enough interest here anyway.

Well that sucks.. I just got back on my account after being really busy. I read the thread and was about to place an order. :(

Got an explination back from the manufacturer..

"My factorys says the bends are too tight and will break in shipment especially if I have to ship them individually. I value you as a customer but this order has more of a potential to cost me money than to make me money"

Shame but understandable.

Alladins Castle Sign

Hey guys, I work for Bob Scott Light, Power, and Sign in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Although, we do not bend neon in our shop, I am good friends with our vendor John @ Mer/Vac. Have you considered building the sign stateside? There would be no minimum quantities and I could get a quote from him If you provide me the dimensions or pattern (If you have). I could personally build the frame as well as provide the transformer. Another more cost effective option would be channel letters. Like the outdoor enclosed setups used on the outside of buildings. Also, these depending on the size of the individual letters can be L.E.D. lit instead of neon. Just an option, but as a sign builder, I know most people are partial to the classic exposed neon style, and neon is a dying art that need to be preserved.

Bob,

I'll reach out to you via PM and we'll talk and see if we can make this and a couple other Neon ideas I have make happen.

Thanks,
Mike
