Anyone else have a full sized air hockey table in their living room? I am really starting to question why I bought this home version instead of just getting a damn coin op version lol!

My ultimate goal is to get one of the full arcade sized Dynamo's, but this one will work for now I hope. The table is extremely dirty so I am going to use a stripper type thing on it, then a polish, then a wax, and then go and clean each and every hole! Hopefully that will get the air flowing better on this thing

I bought my wife a full size dynamo air hockey table couple years back for Valentine's Day. I am sure she still wonders if I bought it more for myself than her. Unfortunately, the thing is so large and requires so much room to set up and play, it just sits in the corner of the garage, stuffed away. My garage is too small to set up the air hockey table, have three arcade cabinets, maintain an exercise area for the wife, and park one car, so the air hockey table is stuffed back behind the arcade cabinets and is used to store stuff on.

I bring it out during the summer or during parties if I have the desire, but in addition to being so large it is also very heavy. I have to use my car jack to take it on and off furniture dollies to move it when I want to bring it out to play. I still wonder how I managed to get the table off the u-haul truck by myself the night I bought it.

In hindsight, I probably would not buy the air hockey table again due to the size. I would rather be using the space for three more arcade cabinets.

I have a coin op dynamo full size table and yes it does eat up alot of room in the arcade. I couldn't pass up the deal and I bought it really cheap because the previous owner thought the air blower motor was out and didn't want to waste money on it so they sold it dirt cheap and they rarely come up for sale in my area so I took it home( Hired about 4 guys to move it it's really heavy!) my kids love it and it gets played alot but man I miss the room I can easily put about 5 arcades in that spot without it but it's a keeper for sure.

I had a pretty large (7' I think) non-coin op that was black lit. My wife wanted it, but lost interest pretty quick. When we decided to sell it, a wacky bidding war went on. I guess it was something that was discontinued, but it ended up selling for as much as we paid for it.

If I'm going to waste that much space again, I'm going to waste just a little more and get a pool table. ;)

Well the table I have now is the same size as a dynamo table. Even with this in here I only loose space for 2-3 pins so I can deal with that. I agree it is more of a party game, but well my pins don't get messed with much if i'm the only one here. Just wanted a big air hockey table for years and finally got one! Now to find the cheap coin op version lol.

I have a huge home version, and for a while I considered selling it and getting a Dynamo but now I realize I have no room whatsoever for one anyway.

I have a 7' Sportcraft I scored on CL for 150.

I had to disassemble the table down to the very last board to get it in my basement, then re-assemble.

Out of all the machines in the basement, the air hockey table always gets the most play.
