I know this product has been out for awhile but after using one on my mame cab I want to express how awesome it is. First off its pretty accurate to the point that I was whooping ass through lethal enforces barely missing any shots. The best part for me at least is how well it works with positional gun games like Revolution x and Alien 3 the gun this alone is worth the price of admission. Although not perfect their damn near close.

Highly recommend this product for people with mame cabs.

Im thinking about making a dedicated mame machine just for gun games with a 26inch lcd.do you have any videos and have a full list of games that will work with system?

The guide on Ultimarc's website provides a list of games its in pdf form.

Im using them on a 25in monitor but there actually going on a 36in showcase as soon as Im done painting it and drilling out the new Cp.

I use a pair on a 25" crt and love em! Area 51 plays real nice with 2 players!

The only issues I have are the gun numbers changing in mame now and again when you plug in additional usb devices or take them out.

Wow these are pretty cheap at 44$. I am going to make can and make it using area 51 graphics and have nothing but light gun games. Does anyone know if you can use recoil and if they would work behind smoke plexi?

One question: how far away from the screen must you hold the gun for it to operate correctly?

................2-3 feet

If only this problem could be solved.
It would open up a world of gun games.
Having to stand back / hold the gun away is troublesome.
It's certainly livable, but it's quite a bother too.

2-3 ft seems reasonable for me. would be great for area 51,virtua cop and max force and some others
