Hell, I would have jumped on that cocktail. A 60-in-1 and that thing would sell for $1000+ around here.

Looks like the thing has a new monitor with the new overlay and glass. Surprised the guy only charged about $350 to do it...

Thats the first time I saw both those. The pac episode isn't totally outrageous. The $175 purchase price was realistic... the $350 repair price was too frankly. Not sure if he'd pull $1200 but it IS Vegas...

The pin episode? Complete bullshit.

True, but most people see it as a working game is worth $1000+. They have a game in the basement that has been rotting away for years and now they watched pawn stars and that rotting hulk is now dollar signs.

I saw a CL ad before where it was the same pinball as was shown on Pawn stars. The guy even used the line game is worth over $5000 willing to sacrifice for $3000. it was completely thrashed though, but it was on tv so it must be true.

The quoted retail on the top one is probably the amount they had to pay when they won that ugly piece of crap in that mountain dew contest. They're probably holding out hope they can get at least the amount they paid in tax for it plus some, which they'll hopefully come out of denial about eventually. Didn't someone else put one of those things up for sale a couple years ago at some insane price?

Mt. Dew drinkers are sitting on a fortune.

I made the attept to buy it for 500 bucks. Which might be a little low, but this guy is smoking some serious crack.

Do you think they had to pay taxes on these?

I love all the dirty laundry and crap piled up 2 feet high around it.. I guess the mice and opossums are just icing.

Not really a surprise on the pac but who in the hell would invest $3k of restoration work into a pin that averages $1k in decent condition if you can even find a buyer for it! Slightly low production run but still it isn't like they only made 100 or something... Yikes.
