Hey fellow Afterburners,

I'm in the middle of restoring my afterburner deluxe. Its been a slow process but somewhat rewarding and fun. Stuffmonger helped me fix the motion issue so thankfully that is a thing of the past.

I still have aways to go before its finished, but here is are pix of one of my main goals of this restoration, which is now complete. The wheel replacement mod. I work at a power plant, so I took some channel iron we had laying around, used a magnetic based drill to make the mounting holes, ordered some 6" wheels rated at 650lbs each from mcmaster-carr bolted it to the channel iron and had a friend weld it to the Afterburner Frame. Was careful to remove the pcb, monitor and some of the side plastics to avoid heat or electrical damage. The front wheels are swivel but can be locked to fixed using the metal ring gizmos. The rear wheels are swivel with a total lock system that locks the direction and sets the brake in one motion. It rolls soo smooth and effortlessly now. Its night and day. Tried to color match as best I could. Its close, but if I can find the exact paint match I will respray. Hope my fellow afterburner brethren enjoy! So long wooden pallet and pallet jack! You're outta here!!
