Can anyone help me with the removal of the motor units. I am taking out both the pitch and rolling unit. I have the bolt to draw down the spring, but when I screw in the bolt it just starts to twist the rubber grommet above the spring and the black part in the spring. I have turned it a number of times and I do not see the spring coming down or the wheel freeing up. Any ideas of why and how to resolve this??

Weird, I don't remember having any issues on mine. You could try greasing the bolt threads, or wedging a screwdriver between the spring and the inner piece, or both.

They are hard to turn but I turn the bolt still
Do you remember if the bolt would go in farther
As you tried to draw it down?

Yes, the bolt should keep going in until the rubber wheel is disengaged. The bolt and stop at the other end are just acting like a big clamp to compress the spring.

I think the whole inner unit is just spinning
With the bolt when I turn it. Not sure how
To stop that and get it to draw down the spring
Does it take a lot of turns to bring the spring down?

Have you tried greasing the threads? Maybe the inner piece is rusted inside? Are you sure the bolt is correct?
