Ok, so I have had this pig in my storage unit for about 4 years...I also have another one for a parts machine which is 90% complete. I have dreaded dragging it out since the wheels on both machines are busted & folded over. Which makes a 900lb machine hard to move. So I talk my friend (Jeff W.) into helping me move this beast onto my trailer and back to the house to put wheels on it. So, we first hang it off the end of the trailer to get the one end of the wheels off. I had to cut the welded on factory bracked with my die grinder to get them loose then hit them with the air chisel to knock of the hidded inside welds. After getting the first side off we debated quite a bit on how to access the back two. We tipped it on an angle and were unsure if we could lift it by ourselves on end. We did and nobody got crushed! This made the removal and install much easier. Once I have all the factor brackets off, I added 1/4 plate to the backs and welded the plate to the original brack. I drilled new holes and mounted new heavy duty wheels. We lowered it back down on the trailer using it a pivot...again, nobody got crushed! The best part of all is it all still worked correctly after the storage on being on end....now for the resto!

It's great to see someone saving one of these. I saw two of them back in 2008 but I couldn't take them at the time. The owner told me we was going to part them if he couldn't find a buyer shortly. I'm sure they're in a landfill somewhere now.
