After rewiring a JAMMA cabinet video not so good anymore
So I finished rewiring my JAMMA cabinet and video comes up with a static screen of messed up red, green and blue blocks most of the time..... once in awhile it will work and I'll see the game playing demo. (Although, more fuzzy then what it should be. The sprites have extra stuff around them also.)
I am using a LCD with RGB convertor but that used to work so I wouldn't think that would be the issue. I also removed the cable from the power supply ground that was running to the FG on the power supply. (I didn't think that was right in the 1st place.) Maybe I should test my power supply? Although the sound seems to work.
I also had to splice my video cable back together as the molex on them originally did not fit my RGB convertor. I tried resplicing this last night as I thought this might be the issue... but no luck. Maybe I'm just not very good at splicing?
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
