after collecting for 14 years, i finally found one.

I finally found my first Nintendo Game & Watch

It goes into my nice collection of vintage handhelds.

The title is "squish"

just wanted to brag because they are obviously hard to find. for 14 years i've been searching all over and NEVER even seen a single one.. Not even an overpriced one that was left behind.....

would like to find more.

anyone got one or two at a good price?

:p

I got my first from the Goodwill auction site... My wife bid on it...

we paid pretty much average price for it. It's a DK Jr.

it is fun...

I've got Squish too. I've been collecting Game & Watches for a bit and I'm up to 35 out of 60 total (not counting the different variations of some of the games, like green Judge and purple Judge, Boxing and Punch-Out!, etc.). They are all over ebay, although many people are trying to sell them for pretty high prices. If you shop around a bit, you can get many of them for a decent price though. Some of them, like the Super Mario Bros. special edition, Mario the Juggler, etc., you will probably have to pay a pretty hefty price for though.

I've also been collecting Nelsonic game watches lately. So far I've got Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Bros. 4, Super Mario World, Dr. Mario, Pac-Man, Frogger, Qbert, Donkey Kong, Starfox, and Tetris.

Ever since I saw the Nelsonic watches, I have to have one... but I have a hard time saving up the money to get one...

I would like the Zelda Game & Watch too... but damn, they are expensive...

Very nice... very nice indeed.

I remember having one of those Starfox watches as a kid... I looked them up not too long ago and you can get them pretty cheap, even brand new

It's just called Donkey Kong Hockey. It's the blue one in the top right of the third picture I posted.

Yep. How'd ya know it's Ikea? I don't care what anybody says, I like Ikea stuff. It's fairly cheap, functional, simple, and comes disassembled so it's a lot easier to get home.

Because I have one as well. Hell, almost my whole house is Ikea shit. I don't care much for their low couches and that kind of thing, but I dig the simple shelves and crap like that.

Looking back, I recall a pic of your living room setup which I think I commented on as well. I think you have the white version of some of the stuff we have. 'Cept we have the black/brown stuff.

ncfiala, the more I see your collection, the more green with envy I get. If you have that many game and watches, what other cool stuff do you have?

I don't have that many Game & Watches (I guess I have 36 now and not 35 like I said before). I don't really have that much shit. About 20 arcade games and a lot of console stuff. And the cutest chihuahuas and the best wife in the world.

36 Game & Watches is a very respectable number, imo.

I think you have a biased oppinion on the wife though... I gotta say, mine's the best. But of course, I think they are propriatary to the specific husbands...
