FS Game: After Burner DX project in NJ $250/bo

They move easy enough with a liftgate and 2 guys, though I usually move them myself, and I'm not huge.

Also, I'm not looking to part this out. It's cheap because I already have another one, even though I have space I don't need two. If nobody wants it as-is I'll probably fix it.

The impulsive irrational side of my brain says buy it because I can fix it, and thus will result in awesomeness. The rational "what the hell are you doing" side of my brain says I can't install the monitor, I don't have good enough skills to fix or maintain all the moving parts, and I have a 99% chance of having no way to haul this.

The impulsive side of my brain is currently winning.

My impulsive side won when i bought mine.

What kind of monitor goes in there? Can this power up & play blind just for the purpose of seeing if all the mechanicals work?

Yes. I just can't be bothered. The machine is still sitting on my loading dock as I just want to pass it on as soon as I can.

If I bring it into my storage I'll eventually piece it back together and repair it as I know it will be trivial, though it will just take time I don't want to commit as I have too many projects. The triac PCB was sitting on the seat. The previous owner said his tech fixed it and just never put it back together, but I cannot be certain. Any 19" monitor will work with slight modification. They originally came with Nanao, but you can stick anything else in as the video signal is the same. It has a universal-mount frame from a WG K7000 sitting in there, so maybe it's all ready to go.. I don't know.

The price is not designed to raise questions, that's left to the size of this thing. :)

FWIW, somebody is coming to look at it tomorrow.
