After a long search, Pinbot has made it to the garage arcade

I have wanted one of these for a long time. This and High Speed are the 2 80s pins that I really want to own, and now I have them both. I will eventually tear it down and remove the mylar, but it is all working now, so I think I am going to play it for a while first. I made the mistake of tearing the High Speed down to the playfield as soon as I got it, and it took me forever to get it back together again. This time, I will wait until I know I have the time.

Big thanks to jehuie for letting this one go so I could get it running and add it to the collection.

Looks good congratulations. I also own a pinbot that needs a tear down. It would be great if you could document the project when you do it.

Pinbot rules. I had one for 10 years before I sold it. It ended up getting me a T2, but I still feel guilty. Guy I sold it to has no clue how to maintain it and he is working on a trade with the baby pacman and pinbot to get another pin right now.

Great pickup. It is such a random game with the dead shots being all you make. My scores varied so much. Such a classic. Enjoy.

Still waiting for one to show up near me that I don't get effed on, but grats. Looks clean.

I went to look at a T2 about a week before I got this one. I am really glad I decided not to buy it now because then I wouldn't have been able to afford the Pinbot. I may get a T2 someday though. There are a few in front of that on the list though. Star Trek: The Next Generation is at the top of that list. I think it is going to take a long time to save up for that one though.

I want a Pinbot someday...I got a lead on one in my area. But lack the $$$... I want to sandwich it between my Bride of Pinbot and JackBot... so the chicks heels are against pinbot... what a visual... Pinbot would be classified a Stud.. ;)

Congratulations Paul on finding a PinBot!

It's a cool game that I wouldn't mind having.

I have a friend in Sacramento that has a real nice PinBot that I play whenever I visit.

Enjoy!
Tom

Congrats, Paul! If I were to start collecting pins, Pinbot would definitely be on my list. Man, clean garage and new pin, you must be on a cloud. :)

An awesome game indeed. In fact PinBot was my first official pin purchase made a little over 20 years ago from a local arcade. It resided there and is perfect. Only thing I did was install a nos field and plastics/vortex ramp.

I love Pinbot. I had a Jackbot, which I foolishly sold (despite selling it for twice what I paid). I'd love to get either Pinbot or Jackbot to sit alongside my Bride of Pinbot again.

I think when we move to the new home I'll save some space to hunt one down.

Yeah, I just need to fix a few of the games now. I have 5 vids that were working 6 months ago, and now they have issues. Once those are all taken care of, I can finally have people over to play...so they can all break again. lol
