OK, I haven't looked at it yet, decided to walk away.
I have an AFM that is registering for a Ball Lock when hit under the saucer. It is not registering to blow up the saucer. So, it is a continuous multiball when hitting the center shot 3 times in a row! Fun at first, but, now I want to adjust it.

I have started to read the manual.

Anyone have one that may know what exactly is happening?

Thanks a million!

Turn game off. Remove glass and balls from game.

Slide playfield up/forward until it locks and then up and lean back.

Find the general area the balls drops to, near the drop target.

The switch there, where a ball would roll, check for broken wires, or broken wire leads. Solder back on what is broken.

Reassemble game, power up. Enjoy your pin.

LTG :)

I was reading that it is not an actual switch, it is an opto. Is this correct? A switch is what I am looking for?

Any help is appreciated!

Opto for the ball lock, but there is a switch for the single drop target in front ot the saucer hole. Make sure this switch wire has not come loose.

Look under the saucer area on top of the playfield and under. There is no opto there.

Once again lift the playfield and lean back so the playfiled is vertical.

See the drop target assembly about 3/4ths of the way down the playfield ?

Now go further down the playfield - see the stainless steel box where the ball drops to from the playfield above ? See the micro mini switch on that box ? Fix it. You have a broken switch, needs adjusting, or broken wire to it, or broken diode lead.

LTG :)
