Finally finished up my first playfield swap tonight. Started off as the game needing a good cleaning and ended up trying my first playfield swap. It turned out better than I had expected, given that I usually manage to screw something up. :)

Something to look at in case you're bored.

So nice! I'm kicking myself in the ass for not picking one of these up when they were affordable. I knew I loved the game, we had one set up on freeplay at our office years ago.

At the time, 3 grand or whatever they were going for sounded like a lot of money! Jeez.
 
I know it was hard enough that all the damn screws wore a blister on both my hands till I finally got smart enough to use a power screwdriver. :))

The reproduction AFM playfields use soft wood so expect to start seeing some dimples.

It's not a problem with the clear coat but the plywood they used does not have the same hard woods that the original playfields had.
