This is one of those "restorations" vs. "original" dilemmas that are simply a matter of personal preference.
Example: I've got an absolutely mint condition Centipede that I restored from the dead, and about the only original part left on it is the particle board. Everything else is frankensteined from eBay, reproduction art websites, trades, bulk buys and anywhere else I could get parts. I'll take a real, honest-to-goodness unaltered original Centipede over that any day. Restorations just aren't the same in my eyes.
However......I agree with Chris25810's statement that original doesn't mean squat if a cabinet is trashed. But I'd say that original cabinet looks nice enough to keep.
I happen to like the nicks and scrapes that these machines wear that remind me they've lived a good life. If it's got matching serial numbers, then keep the original for sure.
