Advice - Best Dolly?

Can anyone suggest a bullet proof one? I'd be more than happy to pay for something that will last. ideally light-ish, 100% aluminium, and has folding down wheels that lock (can tip and hold a cab at 45' and move around, type)

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Take a time machine back to the 40's and buy one there, it will last. Anyway try to find one not made in China, my father has broken 2, count 'em 2, anvil vises by cranking down on the handles hard and broke the jaw castings twice!!! Cheap Chinese crap is what they were so I'm not surprised you go through them like that. If you buy something from some sort of industrial supply like Grainger you should be fine but it will be pricey.

100% agreed. But then this applies to practically everything. Stop buying Chinese Crap. It's the lowest common denominator made by the lowest paid wages the world over. I'd normally say you get what you pay for, but in this case of economic insanity, they demand high prices for things that costed minimal effort in material and manpower to manufacture, not to mention non-existent quality control. And then Sam Walden thought he was doing us all a favor by making us all work for him...

I bought a cheap appliance dolly from amazon. It was $115. so far so good.

If I had to do it over.. I would have gotten larger wheels that the 3rd/4th
wheel tilt back version.

We picked this one up a while ago and it has saved us! Never had an issue with it breaking. I did have an issue when it crashed into the back side of my mini van though. oops. We got it repaired and all was well but man is that thing heavy duty.

Hey All,

I seem to go through Dolly's (hand trucks) like crazy. Broke another on yesterday. I must have gone through half a dozen in the last couple of years. Must be those Atari cabs ;-)
