I have decided to put my 21" Multisync CRT into my DAPHNE/MAME cabinet...

I have heard (and read on Marc site) about the ArcadeVGA card..

I am considering getting one but wanted to know if anyone here is using it??

What are the advantages of using the card with a CRT computer monitor or LCD monitor? Would the games look better using the card with an LCD instead of my CRT?

Sorry for all the questions..just want to make the right decision..

Thanks all..!!

Don't use a computer monitor or an LCD with an ArcadeVGA. It defeats the purpose.
It's intended to interface with a standard res CRT.

I have two setups with it. One for horizontal mame and one for vertical. Two different monitors/sizes. Both work wonderfully. If you are already using a strong enough cpu to handle Daphne, then it will cover you find on the card. Make sure you know that your motherboard is equipped with the right interface for the ArcadeVGA card you end up with AGP/PCI. Oh, and my vote would certainly go towards using a CRT.
