Alright, so I am starting to calm down with the paranoia surrounding my 6100 and I want to get the Tempest picture back to normal. What I need to do is move the image to the left and a little up and make it a tad larger overall. I have burn in on the screen that I can compare to.

What I want to know is:

• Is it safe to adjust the pots on the PCB while the game is running?

• Which pots on the board will directly affect what I need to adjust?

The last thing I want to do is cook this monitor after having it rebuilt several times, so I am very cautious about adjusting the image.

Yes, you can adjust them with the game on without fear of damage. Those pots do have a tendency for breaking a leg......maybe check them out before starting. Hopefully your pots are labeled. I've seen some boards where they are.....some where they're not. Pots labeled "X size" and "Y size" control the size of the image on the screen. "X center" and "Y center" control the position of the image on the screen.
