is there a pot to adjust the voltage on a nintendo dk style power supply? if not, what do we do when one of these starts to go south. Is there a rebuild kit for these? my cab is a bit beat up, but it is all original, I would hate to put in a switcher unless absolutely necessary.

I have strange graphic issues on my dkjr, dk3, and popeye pcbs and I wonder if the power supply is the problem. I have not taken my meter to it yet, I figure I would ask here and go into the machine with whatever knowledge I can get from the gurus here first.

I actually hope the power supply is the issue and not 3 different pcb's with problems. they all played fine in the cocktail, but that has been sold.

thanks

Yes, there is both a voltage and current adjustment for the PP7A & PP7B power supplies. They are located inside, and not accessible from the outside.

These power supplies are rebuildable, and IIRC Ken Layton or somebody had a complete cap list for them.
