Hey guys, WG k7401. I have a new chassis, and my image is a little to big for the screen, I tried the h-width pot but the lowest it goes isnt enough, The width coil can not seem to be adjusted?? I know in the hole on top of the top hat looking thing theres supposed to be a spot for an allen key (plastic one I know) but mine doesnt have anything. solid piece of metal it looks like, cant stick anything in there to twist, any help??

L703, right?

Have you checked to see if there is a hole underneath?

If I'm reading the schematic properly, it looks like C722 is the width cap. That would be a .68uf 200v PP cap. Increasing the value should give you a smaller horizontal width. If you have a small value PP (like .1uF 200v or something), you could hook it up in parallel to C722 to see if that changes the width or not...

nope, no hole underneath, And chassis is new, so the model number probably doesnt matter?

I took pics but my phone is being retarded and wont upload them, still trying :(

sorry about that :(

man I love this cell phone, 8mp LOL

any of those help or no?

Also keep in mind, my remote board has a H.Width pot, but that only makes it wider, not smaller (its all the way down right now)

Looks like you need to do the cap thing I mentioned to see if that helps...

looks like an anti-tamper cap in the HWC, should come out with a magnet.

That's kinda what I was thinking, but I have been racking my brain for an example I had come across. I had seen one where there was a plastic "plug/cap" pushed into the top of the slug. Had to gently remove it in order to adjust the coil.

You could always take it off and see if there is a hole underneath for adjustment, but that would be fun taking it off, adjusting it, putting it on, checking, taking it off, etc.

Have you tried my cap idea yet?

If the op takes the width coil off, he should remove the slug and put it in the correct way. That way he can correct it from the top.
