I'm finding a lot of the games I'm working on have thin strips of foam rubber with adhesive on them. Obviously these strips are now falling apart and need to be replaced. Anyone have any idea where I could find something like this?

An example would be the foam strip between the control panel and the glass bezel on centipede.

Another example would be the foam strips between the marquee brackets and the glass marquee.

So it is looking like 1/4 X 1/8 black weather stripping might be the ticket? Anyone had experience using this as a replacement?

I believe I had read in a recent thread about someone picking up some of the actual 3m stuff from Walmart. Can't locate the thread atm.

I recently purchased a roll of this from Amazon. It's by 3M, and it's called "window-weld". Used primarily for putting windshields in older cars, but I also use it for vibration dampening between metal panels in jukeboxes. Good for lots of things.

I've used the weatherstripping available in hardware stores. This works really great around a new DMD display on pinball machines - it keeps the stray light from the head from glaring out the DMD.

You can find it in a variety of thicknesses.
