just remember that the weight limit is distributed. Meaning these are 85-90lb limit. but thats 90x4=360lbs

The home depot guy asked me how heavy my cab was, and i said about 250, hes like o.. sorry we only have casters that support up to 100lb.

I looked at the guy like he just farted, and i replied, so then they support 400lb if i get 4 of them, right? then he points to the label on the display box. One Hundred Sir...thats what the box says.

im like ooooo kay... walked away slowly. the Lowes guy laughed at my story.

I picked up a set of casters at Lowes. They are their P/N 235514, '2" Swivel Gray Wheel, Threaded Stem'. Moving the tee nut inside is a good idea. Keeps the mounting plate that is usually on the bottom of the base from coming loose, although you lose adjustability. An alternate approach is to put one of the square threaded mounting plates on the bottom (held on with four phillips wood screws, then adjust the wheels for the correct height, then put a washer and nut inside and tighten. Whether this works or not will depend on how much adjustment you need and how thick the base is.

Its great.. I recently have been getting brand new very high quality casters at a "Restore Store" for $1 each!

I"m 6'2".. so I like raising the games a bit too.. easier on my neck and back...

Are you willing to buy me a few and ship them? I can't find any casters around here (HD or Lowes) that will fit... they all have smaller threads than the feet I remove from the cabs.

OK, I just tried this - went to Lowes and they had the wheels linked above. I unscrewed the old feet from the bottom of the cab, but left the metal mounts in. I had to do some work to level the base as the 2 front corners had been push in, but once done the wheels screwed in, and the beast is tamed...I'm definitely a casters convert now.

So, could I use those casters on my EDOT? Or would they break under all the weight?

I'd think with EDOT you'd need way more than 4 wheels. I just did the 720 and added 6, plus 2 levelers on the front. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.

I would like the functionality of having wheels. I think they look goofy though.

hers the thing with using the already existing brackets. they arent made for holding casters, they are made to hold straight feet. the screws that hold those pieces of metal in are 1/3 of an inch long, and will eventually rip off with a bigger problem.

How is a caster any worse than a "foot"? I'd think it would be less stress actually...they roll as opposed to sliding, which the feed do when you move these heavy bastards around. Sliding causes much more friction than rolling.
