I always wanted to put a sign in my arcade. Stop, R/R crossing, Yield, whatever. The gypsies at Goldrush Days here in MN always want $75-$100 for a stupid sign. This year I got a "Yield" sign for $5.
I mounted that on the ceiling of my stairwell leading into the arcade a couple of months ago. But it needed more. What am I yielding to?
With some vinyl lettering from Prok(big thanks to him for producing such a nice product and shipping it so fast), I spiced up the arcade entrance. I wanted to use that 80's computer/robot font...
It reads:
Yield
to all aliens
UFO's, robots
light cycles
planetoids
mutants, wizards
satellites
grid bugs, pods
centipedes
flaming barrels
baiters, ghosts
pterodactyls
worloks, pt boats
grunts, meteors
swarmers
humanoids and
space avengers
The pictures don't do it justice, it looks a lot better in person. I love doing this kind of thing. Gives people something to look at BEFORE they even get down into my arcade.
Just wanted to share with everyone here. It was a lot of fun to work on. My daughter helped me(a little bit) while we listened to Tom T. Hall's Greatest Hits over and over...
Special thanks again to Prok for the nice lettering. And also thank you to Swolgam who offered to help me with the lettering, too.
