I am on a roll this week, scored a TOTAN on Monday and now TAF tonight, for a pretty killer deal as well. At least I thought it was killer and minus the wear over that power insert the playfield is super clean!

Awesome. I bought one for my daughter. Am in process of doing a ground up restore to make it pristine for her.

She fell in love with it... had to buy her one. " Daddy, I want an Addams Family".... "OK Honey" LOL

Funny thing on it. My game will randomly reset itself. So, I read about it for a while and ended up plugging it into a 20amp instead of 15amp circuit and had no issues. I didn't realize this game was so power sensitive!

what did you give for yours?

I paid $2,800 for it

Definitely a sweet price!!
(hate saying that for $2,000+, but it is a TAF)
I had to ship mine halfway across the country which added a chunk.

Is there any significant wear anywhere else on the playfield?

One mod I would say is a "must" is the magnet protection fuses. Should cost ya about $20 and are a quick plug and play solution!

Probably the worst one.

The worst power hog is a Twilight Zone. During the Summer, I would experience random resets during multiball when the wall voltage dropped to 118 volts. The 5+ voltage is very sensitive on WPC089 pins. At or about 4.90 volts, the game will reset.

Yup! That is already on there!

And there is no other playfield wear other than what can be seen from my picture :)

i'd say $2800 is pretty frackin' good. most people think just because they have a pin, it's automatically a re-sale gold mine......add in the fact that it's a very popular title and you're lucky to get the damn thing for less than $3500 nowadays.

I think I'm going to try and sell or trade it. I am a huge fan, but the power in my game room is driving me freakin nuts when it resets.

there's an addams family near me on route....it's definitely fun, but i could see where it could get a bit boring in a home collection.

IMO, you should be able to snag a nice profit off of it if you decide to sell it....especially if you're willing to be patient....i think you got it for a great price.

Yeah, definitely not too boring, at least not yet and I have 0 patience ha :p

I just can't handle having a great game and some other doofus comes in the room, turns on another game and BAM! reset city...

you guys would hate florida. HUO addams family - $2100. HUO twilight zone - $2300. both this year, friends in this hobby (i found the TAF, i have no interest in that one). just stay away from mr pinball and eBay if you're buying.

creature / cftbl is now a $5000.00 game. and it sucks, playwise. $2000.00 all day, just 2 years ago.
