Yes, I have also encountered dim pictures caused by either of the resistors R517 (180 k 1/2 watt) or R516 (150 k 1/2 watt) going open. Generally it has been R517, but once I found R516 gone open.

I just repaired another g07 with a dim picture,it was r517.I probably never would have never found it without this thread,thanks everyone!

Talked to someone via PM recently who had a G07 with the green being over-driven and R517 turned out to be the culprit also...

4 year old post and we are still repeating history. Yep, R517 seems to be an issue on these. Need to put a footnote on my troubleshooting chart to assist me next time I run into this issue.

I think the two most common monitors is the K7000 and the G07. There is already a sticky thread for the K7000, but nothing for the G07. Perhaps one should be made. Maybe not this thread, but one started similar to the other stickied thread.

It's time to start including R517 in the capkits. Zanen Electronics already includes the troublesome R908. So I think they ought to now include R517 too.
