I did some Google searches yesterday to see if I could dig up anything new or recent regarding Adam Judd, Jan Judd/Jan Eva Johnson/Krazykatt, etc... I got basically nothing, except some pics. Can you imagine being in that situation with your wife and family - being a known scammer/having been sued, etc.. so you have to stay invisible online, private Facebook (I'm assuming), etc.. Even if he's wiping his ass with $100s, I wouldn't trade places with that pathetic POS.

Yeh, quite the scammer back in the RGVAC days.
I was one of the lucky ones ... pushed him alittle and got my boards.
Ha, and now I know what he looks like ... LOL.

In a short paragraph, can someone explain why he was able make some high quality stuff, but in the end fell apart and produce none of the later stuff?

We he really just peddling NOS or something? Lost interest? Unknown?

Seems like he got in wayyyy over his head... was addicted to the money.... started lying to cover it all up.... Same story that every embezzeler has.

He was still able to produce some product but only a small fraction of what he promised. Then eventually, he produced nothing at all. Since he couldn't get supply, he started selling items people had sent him to repro...

If I had to guess he strung along his vendors too, promised big orders, probably had a small run of prototypes made up of the bigger stuff like the yoke controls which he ended up selling here to make him seem legit. A few people bought the stuff, confirmed it looked good, more people ordered, when he ran out of the prototypes, he kept taking orders, then took the cash and ran.

Not exactly over his head.. He had a past of scamming people when the whole Ram Controls thing started, but people did not realize it was the same guy who ran scams on rgvac in the past. His wife was also a scammer, KrazyKatt.

What he produced was most likely-mostly not paid for by scamming the Chinese parts suppliers/part fabbers.

...and when he'd hit a rough patch, he'd do a contest, giveaway or blow out some cheap parts at huge discounts (with overnight shipping) in order to drum up some support.

At one point I head that he had scammed some people into paying for 'vapor ware' Star Wars cockpits.

I bought some stuff from him early on without issue--a few yoke parts, some 720 joystick parts--small items. I never got cheated by him, but man, he really put the screws to a lot of people in his end game. Then I think his 'company' 'traded hands' a few times so he could assume a new (fake) identity to rinse and repeat.

Moral of the story: you can create a web site advertising stuff that doesn't exist and get people to send you lots of money... and you can get away with it pretty easily.

Every time a Rams Control reference is made, I kick myself for buying a small gear I needed for my SW yoke. I was still pretty green getting into the hobby back then, not knowing a lot of people in this community as I do now, and it sickens me that my few dollars supported this bastard. I was ignorant and had hoped he'd reimburse the people he stole money from, but then came to understand what this clown was all about. My heart goes out to those who lost money with this guy. I know this topic stirs up a lot of bad mojo with this community.

To KLOV members, I'm sorry my few bucks supported this scam, while you were fighting for your money/parts, had I been more educated/experienced back then, my money would have never gone to that freak.

Just curious, how much cash do you estimate he stole from the community?

Hell, the guy has his own sub-forum in the Feedback section on this site. If you are bored, read up:

Google Spreadsheet that was put together to track who was screwed:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...qFsOIpLJyzw/edit?hl=en&authkey=CPDFuqsL#gid=0

Running tally on spreadsheet: $26,152.70 which is only the people that came forward. Most people believe the number is a lot higher......
