I regret selling mine but it was sure fun while I had one. Hard f'n game that gets SUPER FAST when you get to higher levels.

Enjoy that one....it's a Starcade classic.

Haven't played it since the arcade days. Been looking for one for quite awhile.
Got it cheap and paid to ship.
Feels just as good as I remember it!

yeah, I'd like one of those at some point. I used to play the heck out of that bitd.

I was watching some Starcade the other day and was thinking that you don't really see many of these around nowadays, but they had that game as the prize like 5 times on the show.

Love seeing that one show up on Starcade, it is a staple there for sure. I never saw one in the wild. On that note, I never saw a Graplop in the wild either and that game is on there alot too. Was that a popular game BITD?

Last time I checked, this game didn't work correctly in MAME. I had never seen one in the wild before either, but a couple of years ago I got a junker cabinet from an op to convert into a 48-in-1. It was painted solid gray, and had a giant hole for a trackball cut in the center of the control panel, having been converted to Golden Tee a long time ago. As I was disassembling the game, I was surprised to find the Centuri tag for "Munch Mobile" stapled inside it, along with the original Munch Mobile boardset, still bolted to the inside of the cab. I'd never heard of the game before that. That was when I looked it up on MAME, and played it a bit - it was really glitchy. Seems like an interesting concept, I'd like to actually play it one of these days. I wonder if it's fixed in a newer version of MAME.

It's in nice shape for it's age. I played a few games on it before it was shipped out. Had never played it or seen it in the wild before.

Nice! Never heard of it before but it looks cool. Looks in pretty good condition too.

It's not really in 'good' condition.
Cell phone pictures can be deceiving like that.
It's spent some time 'wet' and smells like 'barn' and 'mouse'.
It's also got some damage on the lower corners.

It's still beautiful to me... right now.

I will play it a bit here at work and then take it to storage. In the spring I will make a stencil for the side art and get to taking it apart for a good sanding and repainting... inside and out.

Congrats on your acquisition! I know when I found out I was getting a Berzerk cab and it was near where I lived for a price I could more than afford I was going off the wall with excitement!

Good luck with your new cabinet and keep us update with pictures and updates! Whats your high score so far?

Wow. I have never heard of it. Looks pretty damn cool though.

Off to MAME I go to give it a try.....

Looks a lot like Bump N Jump

The only thing those two games would have in common is that you control a car in both. Munch Mobile is...unique. You use the left stick to drive a hungry car down the road and you use the other joystick to extend the car's big arm and hand to either side to grab and eat cherries and stuff.

My high score? Hmmmm, just busted it loose from the pallet.. I am at work so I can't play it much... I am near 5K after a couple games.

I suck at it... but I love it.

Bezerk is killer fun. Congrats on that too.

Nice score Allen. Lloyd was great to deal with when I bought a Crazy Climber Deluxe from him as is. All it needed was monitor work and some TLC for cosmetics. His prices are very low for rare titles.

I brought my MM to CAX a couple years and was blown away by some dude who had played it as a kid years ago..... I thought I had a decent score after getting to the third round (which wasn't easy)...I think my score was 15k or so.... can't recall. Anyways, this guy scored OVER 100k.... The speed of how the game moved was insane!!!! The game is hard enough trying not to crash but keeping your fuel up, getting bonus points with fruit and trash points AND avoiding oncoming obstacles....sigh. It's no wonder they didn't make too many of them, I bet too many ppl thought the game was too hard.

That or the name just didn't attract many.

Always loved the artwork, classy and simple.

Very cool Allen! Never heard of it. I'm always surprised at what people dig up and bring home after all these years. Congrats. Hey, I thought you were downsizing??
