whats the average price for the pro model and is the premium one worth the extra money in your opinion? i know the le would not be worth it for me, i just want to play it and have fun, im not worried about the (collector) factor in it. it will be my first new in box pinball that i buy. im also thinking about the wizzard of oz also. ed

I personally think the premium one is worth the extra scratch. As I like the lower playfield instead of staring at the dudes face..

The Premium looks really good with the moving men, the extra ball rail, Bell Toy, plastic train, lower playfield. I wish I had the extra for one of these right now.

I usually like the Pro models. AC/DC is the one major exception. If I couldn't afford the Premium of that one, I'd get the Pro of something else.

If you have the extra $, go premium.. it's an awesome game! The pro is good, but the premium is pure awesomeness! It gets a ton of play in my collection.

I agree with most of this, except the "animated" band is laughably cheezy. The main difference playability-wise is the lower pf. Other stuff is just plastic decorations. So, they're gouging you about $2k for the lower pf, which annoys me as a consumer (but not of this title!).

Does anyone know the pricing for these if we go thru someone on the group?

There are many fine distributors to go through. Try Tilt Amusements for a price quote. I believe a ovfdfireman, member here is a newer dealer and may have them in stock too.

prices for stern pins are never posted online....

your best bet is to email/call trent over @ tilt amusements-

i've bought 4 pins (new and used) from trent and his pricing and service is top notch! also... (+1) on the ACDC PREMIUM. great pin for sure and worth the extra $$. nothing beats the cool lower pf (hell), the swinging bell is awesome, the color changing lights are sweet, the red trim looks bitchin, and the shaker additiion is mos def worth the extra $$ (you have to add it yourself). best pin by stern in a loooooong time :)

I got the pro model for 4750.00 and its awesome! I play it every night. My poor Indiana jones by Williams doesn't get played much now. I highly recommend the bell mod for the pro. Makes hitting the bell easier for the left flipper. Ed
