I am close to moving into my new house and I am now wondering about how many arcade machines I can safely put on one breaker?!?

I have 9 machines, a megatouch, slot machine and coke machine (the big items) that all need to go into a basement with likely a few lights, LCD tv, stereo, and other odds and ends.

Can anyone tell me about how many amps these things draw each? Is it okay to turn them all on together? Do I need a second breaker?

Thanks!

Is each circuit a 15 amp circuit?

Personally, I'd put a max of about 5 games on one 15 amp circuit. So if you have 9 games I'd allow for 2 circuits just for those.

I have 5 games on a dedicated 20 amp circuit and it pulls around 10-11 amps.

Plus more circuits for the other stuff.

Your mileage may vary and some games draw more power than others so this is just an average.

If you search here, you'll find threads where people break things down into a bit more detail.
