When putting games into service, it seems reasonable for the location to pay for repairs that are caused by abuse vs. normal wear and tear. Some of the things I classify as abuse seem pretty obvious like punching a hole in the side of it or someone tagging all over your artwork or even spilling a beer on the machine because they tried to put it on top of the machine.
The normal wear and tear issues are a little bit harder to define. I think if you end up having a joystick that needs repair or a microswitch goes out on one of the buttons or a monitor needing new caps put in, it probably constitutes normal wear and tear, but am trying to think of some of the other issues that would be categorized as abuse or as wear and tear. In your opinion, what sort of repairs should an operator be responsible for and what sort of repairs should a location pay for?
