Absolutely no component cables are working across multiple different superguns, cables, or CRT displays. I desperately need help.

I've been having this issue for a few months and need help.

I'm trying to play my arcade games on my CRT using component cables, and for a few years it all worked fine. Suddenly though nothing is working.

I own two superguns, a JJCBOX PRO, and an ArcadeForge MAK. I also have a ton of different component cables and CRTs, but no matter what I try I can't get a clean video.

I don't know what to do anymore. Please if anyone knows how I can fix this I'm willing to do anything.

Here's a video goes over more detail and showcases all the problems:

My guess is problem with the retroTink or scart/component cables in the first cases and you have lost sync in the later ones.

Something changed, you just need to think through when the last time it worked was and what is different now.

What type of TVs?

Find a known good device to plug into the TVs to make sure you don't have capacitor or neckboard trouble with the TVs that is causing the color issues and loss of audio.

Tv needs a cap kit and a reflow. You're probably not going to find a ready made cap kit but contact security001 and create a parts list of all the capacitors you see on the chassis. If it suddenly stopped accepting that video input I'd be willing to bet one of the two, I've seen this on a pvm but reverse the composite wasn't working looked out of sync just like yours but the rgb/component was perfect.

Apologies for the late update, I got very busy yesterday.

As it turns out, the JJ-CBOX PRO has a small switch that goes between "RGB" and "Comp". Mine was on "RGB". I briefly noticed this before but assumed the setting was right for me, and completely forgot about it until being asked to take a closer look. I switched it back to "Comp" and everything is working again!

As for my MAK Supergun, I'm still having a strange filter issue with it. It probably is one of the issues mentioned before, or that particular Supergun has given out and just doesn't work anymore. I couldn't say, but if at any point I decide to use it again I'll keep those ideas in mind.

Thanks for all the suggestions and assistance!

I just assumed you tried a different component source like a GameCube or Wii or something. But that switch on your device would do it, I knew it was out of sync! Glad that was a simple one for you!
