One can never have too many restoration threads going right?

Anyway, here is Food Fight! This was found in an abandoned arcade in WV and cosmetically, was actually pretty decent!

The full raid story is here!

Just covered in twenty years worth of decaying structure, cigarette smoke and materials I don't even want to think about.

I realized I don't have a good photo of the front of the game as it was found... But believe me it was DIIIIIRTY.

The good news and the bad news, right off the bat:

Good news:
Cosmetically and structurally, it was sound. It had the joystick (and a second joystick!) and all the artwork aside the marquee was present. The AR was present.
The control panel harness, light fixture harness, service panel and coin door harnesses all seem to be present. I also found the EMI Filter PCB.

The Bad News:
Copper thieves got to it. And not particularly clever ones. They smashed the monitor for the yoke, stole the PCB, the power brick, and the entire wiring harness.
They also stole the marquee and definitely haven't heard of a screwdriver, because they pried it out of the lower retainer for some reason, destroying it. Photos to come in the next post.

What it definitely needs:
  • Food Fight PCB
  • Harness
  • Power Block (I have a REALLY cruddy one, but this deserves better I think)
  • Monitor (I think I have a good G07 for it, as nature intended)
  • Marquee (glass version?)
