I just had to post this and share with you Xenon or pinball lovers out there what it looks like seeing triple. It started with myself buying a nice Xenon from (session9), took it home and played and gave it some love. So i get a call from (ENDOFLINE) and he tells me about a craigslists add that comes up only 2 days later, so since i already had on i inform and call (xray2) about the add and told him that it was local, he got a steal on it, and was happy.
So about a month or 2 later i get a message from (session9) that he is not going to restore his other Xenon and that he was going to sell it, this is the project game that myself and (xray2) split and we used the parts to upgrade both machines, and know we are happy. we had a long night, but well worth it once it was done. i also must thank everyone i included !!! thanks guys.
here are some pics of last night swapping all the parts.

I am drooling a little. The Cali guys get so much good stuff. Really beautiful pictures though.

Nice Dave! It looks like the 1979 production line at Bally.

BTW - you can get the same effect for a lot less money if you stare at one machine and down a bottle of bourbon. Not that I would know PESONALLY, I've just heard ;)

Triplets! That's just a really cool looking pic. So, who took what from the donor machine? After it was all said and done - is the donor still a playable machine, or just a parted shell?

Well, since you are asking (xray2) is using the rest for parts testing and such.
all in all i think we came out good on the whole deal. :) we could not pass up the oppurtunity of 3 xenon's together, was too much fun.

That's pretty cool. My uncle used to have a Xenon in his basement that I would play as a kid. What I remember most about the game is that it was pretty SCARY! Between the face staring back at you and the voices, it was enough to give a 9 year old kid a serious case of the willies. I can't imagine three lined up!!! Don't forget to try a tube shot while you're playing. :)

There's a pretty interesting documentary about it here: http://www.sevwave.com/early_ciani/ciani_xenon.html (I think -- the video is blocked here at work.)
