Got this from nuckingfutz a few years ago, just dug it out and started working on it. It had many broken corners, board issues, and the monitor ended up having a dead red gun. So far, i replaced the coin panel, lower acess door, panel under the front of the CP, both game sides, and the upper and lower pieces on the back. Stripped control panel, disassembled controller, stripped coin door, and just got it all back together.

Going tuesday to get a bezel and marquee glass made for it, Jpopson is installing a new tube and recapping monitor, then on to the board issues. I still need to go buy a marquee light, order T-molding, clean the brick/harness, and make a back door for it. Will be for sale when it's finished too.

thanks! I tell ya, the cnc is a lifesaver. I knocked the best side off with a hammer, and copied it into my software, along with the other misc pieces. The coin door panel was broke at the top, and 3 large lockbar holes in it. Took me roughly 1 hour to program all the parts in, another hour to cut all the parts out. Changed out both game sides in one day. It would have taken forever to try and make all those corners, then risk having them break when you install T-molding.

Very nice!

So what color t-molding you gonna add? Standard or something colorful?

So jealous. The rest of us have to kill ourselves with Bondoing over the course of days, and you bang that out in 2 hours. Crazy!

lol i would give that award to Chris in MN, or Takeman. Chris' paperboy restore is insane. I'd love to have went to the depths he did, but i have to make a few bucks on mine, and can't spend 100 hours on it!

I stored a Journey for Roadrunner000 from Takeman, and it was a VERY nice looking machine. Many more people on here do awesome work too.

One of these days when i'm not rushed, i'll restore something to 110% of factory. I got a possible buy happening this summer, about 20 - 25 machines. There's a 4 player atari football in the lot, that may be the one.

I really don't want to Pooh-pooh your work......so I won't. Wow, just Wow. I wish my neighbor would buy a friggin CNC rig. He makes cabinets for a living and I keep telling him that he would do so much better if he would buy a CNC rig and make arcade cabinets instead of kitchen cabinets. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing the photos. Oh yeah....Paperboy is his favorite game. Honest! How wild is that?

That Paperboy is looking amazing. It is cool to see the side shot with only one side and the interior pieces- looks like lots of individual pieces of wood in there.

Very nice!

Brett truly is the man...that is why when I go the route of new cab I have him make it..I know he will nail it down to every little piece to keep it exactly as the original..can't wait for my next trip up to get my next load of goodies...:D
