Left my house this morning at 9:45, project pinball for trade loaded the night before.
Arrived in Citrus Heights near Sacramento 12:30 pm -offloaded pinball, loaded pac man
cocktail. Then its off to meet Jehuie, nice guy and very helpful. Loaded two Arkanoid cocktails then back home through the Napa valley. Two project cocktails in the garage, Revenge of Doh in my bedroom, works great and a fun game.

So my very first video arcade game is officially an Arkanoid Revenge of Doh cocktail (and my 200th post!)
(Converted Ms. Pac, maybe, what does the screen burn tell you?)

Original Pac Man to be restored to factory spec, the other cocktail is a Japanese cab,
but instead of Nintendo it says SEGA. Hmmm, what Sega could it have been? any ideas?
No cpu or monitor in that one.

I'm happy, definitely tired, Thanks Jehuie!!!

Breakdown: Elapsed time 8 hours, 20 minutes
Miles traveled 325
Fuel Cost: $57.00

Ninja, Choplifter, what else could it be?

I did a little choplifting back in the day but I never got caught.

yeah yeah, games blah games blah games blah. There is way more important stuff to discuss about this trip.

So...was the hanger still on the stop sign?

:)

It was great to meet you Scott. That was quite a journey to travel for sure! Sorry if I seemed rushed....there was a lot going on today!

And yeah the hanger is there (the new one of course) but I forgot to tell him to look for it!

Legacy..

Doh is a really fun game. Playing it is like a tribute to the man who built this particular machine, he is gone now, but we both know he loved Arkanoid enough to build these two cabinets. Gives me goosebumps. Right now, I just want to go back to reinforcing the Vaus, see ya!

Damn, you were right near me. It's nice when a long run like that pays off. When I went to get my Star Wars all I could think about was getting it home and start working on it.

Arkanoid though hated for being put in so many classic cabs is really a fun game. Plus girls like it.

I don't think its a converted Pac, because the positioning of the one player/two player buttons looks like a Galaxian.
Also has the weird circle cutout thingy on the coin door which Pacs were not supposed to have, but Galaxians did.
Pretty sure, here, but I could be wrong! It does have a monitor in it that was pac at one time, who knows?

It's definitely Ms Pac burn, not Pac burn. Look at the maze coming out of the tunnel (below the "button" letters), Ms Pac has that little jog in the maze there. Pac-Man has no jog in front of the tunnel, and it leads straight to the edge of the monster pen.
