So got some time to try working on this.. started to replace about half the caps but stopped when all the ones I were taking off metered exactly in spec but I did all around the 3055 area. I checked the small 1a fuse off of the 3055 transistor, and it had blown... guess thats why it wasn`t working. SO I replaced the 3055 and checked all other diodes and transistors on the pcb.. all tested fine. Plugged it back in and the fuse still blows immediately. Anyone have any idea what else could make the fuse blow? How are the HV units on these for reliability?
Also noticed on the parts list it says R82 is a 150Ohm 5w resistor.. but I meter it at 2.2k. I don`t think this would affect wether the monitor runs or not as it looks like its for horizontal position.. anyone know the correct value? I tried both either way and does not affect the fuse blowing.. it still blows every time.
