A no haggle guy wants my tempest... should I sell?

Best thing to do is to ignore it. We get these TTY scams all the time, but over the phone. It sucks for the legit deaf person that really needs to use it to communicate. But scammers use them to steal instead. Sad.

I get the same thing at work all the time. People using it to try to purchase laptops from us and have us ship them overnight via UPS. Sad thing is one or two dumb employees actually have fell for it.

Why do people think it is a crime to reveal someone's email address?

say I release his information and subsequently someone here threatens him or sends him harassing emails. I would be the source of his distress.

As I did not fall for the scam, I can't prove he did anything wrong. However, giving out his address and setting him up for harassment is forseeable on my side. It seems wrong, but I imagine people have been sued for less.

I could be wrong.
